Membership Structure

Who Can Join AQC?

Club-level membership. Voluntary. Equal standing for all.

Eligible Institutions

  • IITs — Indian Institutes of Technology
  • NITs — National Institutes of Technology
  • IIITs — Indian Institutes of Information Technology
  • GFTIs — Govt. Funded Technical Institutes
  • BITS Pilani & campuses
  • Private Colleges

Membership Terms

    VoluntaryAny eligible club can apply to join AQC

    Club-LevelThe entire club joins — not individual members

    Executive CouncilTop 2 officers of each member club join the Council

    Equal StandingAll member clubs have equal voice in the association
Governance

Executive Council

The governing body of AQC — made up of representatives from every member club.

Council Composition

  • Each member club sends its top 2 officers to the Executive Council
  • All Council members have equal voice regardless of institute tier

Rotating Presidency

  • Each year, one member club is randomly selected to hold the AQC Presidency
  • Eligible pool: IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, BITS
  • Selected club's officers become AQC President & VP for the year
  • Selection is random — ensures fairness and broad representation
  • No club holds the Presidency twice consecutively

Annual Quant Contest

Every campus sends its best. Three phases. One champion.

Phase 01

Campus Round

Each member club organises a competition within their own institute. Teams from the same college compete for the campus title.

Phase 02

Institute Champions

The winning team from each campus earns the right to represent their club at the Annual Quant Contest.

Phase 03

Grand Contest

Hosted by the Presiding Club at their flagship Tech Fest. Champions from all campuses compete for the AQC title.
